US Lacrosse Foundation Special Events
In addition to coordinating regional social gatherings under the banner of First Look at The First Sport events, the US Lacrosse Foundation conducts one major fund raising event each year - the US Lacrosse Foundation Putting Tournament. This unique annual event attracts lacrosse enthusiasts to some of the country's most prestigious golf clubs for cocktails, a silent and live auction, a putting tournament and dinner. The ultimate goal of the event, of course, is to raise money to support the continued development of the game of lacrosse. And toward that end, through its first seven years, the event has raised over $500,000 in support of US Lacrosse programs and services. 

The Fall 2008 US Lacrosse Foundation Putting Tournament was in Denver, Colorado in September, and was one of two golf events held during the 2008 calendar year.
