General Description With a high level of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills, welcome guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the phone. Assist all staff members and provide back-up for the US Lacrosse Museum Manager.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities Serves as the front-line contact with the general public Receives and/or transfers incoming calls Responds to general information requests from web site, e-mails, and phone calls Responsible for receiving and delivering shipments at the head office Sorts all mail and records payments received in a daily log Provides administrative support to directors or departments as needed Serves as backup to US Lacrosse Museum operations Serves as backup to Member Service Center Other duties as assigned Manages office: o Inventories office supplies and place orders o Liaison to administrative service providers including office machines, mail services, maintenance contractors, etc o Provides basic orientation to new employees o Coordinates volunteer activities for in-house volunteers o Maintains safe, clean and welcoming reception area

Director of Financial Development Status: Full-time
General Description Directs and manages a board-based fund raising program for US Lacrosse and its US Lacrosse Foundation, including capital drives, annual fund, planned giving, foundation and corporate giving, national teams, donor relations and research, and special fund raising events. Develops budgeted financial goals; recruits, develops and manages fundraising staff and volunteers needed to successfully implement fundraising tactics for each area of activity. Identifies, implements and evolves effective technical resources necessary to maximize fund raising success.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities US LACROSSE FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS: Work with the Board to determine fund raising priorities, implement fund raising strategies, and achieve fund raising goals. Provide regular progress reports to the Board and CEO. Plan, coordinate and staff annual Putting Tournaments. Work with the Board to identify and cultivate donor prospects. US LACROSSE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, US LACROSSE FUND: Oversee the US Lacrosse Annual Fund. Develop and oversee annual programs focused on major gifts and leadership giving, such as the First Sport Society (annual gifts of $1,000 and above). NATIONAL TEAMS: Establish and oversee the implementation of fundraising programs for Mens and Womens National Teams. WEBSITE: Develop and evolve web content specific to fund raising. Work with Financial Development and Communications staff to promote and provide easy access to on-line giving opportunities. MARKETING: Work with Marketing and Communications to identify opportunities and synergies that will increase the profile of fund raising throughout the organization. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Work closely with the Managing Director of Finance on budget development and management; oversee process of maintaining charitable registrations for USL and USLF in each state. 2. Maintains close working relationships with USL Board and USLF Boards, to plan, manage, and direct cost effective fund raising campaigns 3. Develop and maintain relationships with key corporate and national lacrosse leaders, organizations and associations. 4. Direct the production of fund raising collateral required to maintain an effective fund raising program. 5. Provide fund raising staff with appropriate and on-going training and professional development opportunities. 6. Evaluate, hire and manage relationships with vendors for contracted services.
Required Skills, Education and Experience At least 5 years of fund raising management experience An undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year college or university Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills Ability to lead, thrive and excel in a collaborative environment A genuine interest in the mission of US Lacrosse Travel, including nights and weekends, required.

Managing Director, Membership Status: Full-time
General Description This position is responsible for the management and oversight of all programs associated with membership retention and acquisition and call center services. The position also serves as a member of the organizations Executive Team and supervises membership and call center staff. US Lacrosse, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, relies on growing membership support for a large portion of its operational funding. The organization currently has 260,000 members within 60 regional chapters and employs a national staff of 55. Additional funding programs include annual giving, planned giving, foundation and corporate giving, capital drives, grants, advertising and special events.
Specific Responsibilities Develop all marketing materials and membership protocols necessary to maximize member acquisition and retention. Identify and implement strategies to evolve the US Lacrosse membership program, especially in the areas of member value and administration. Develop, implement and manage the annual budget for membership and call center operations. Serve as the primary membership liaison to the Director of Information Technology to evolve and improve data base functionality and reporting capabilities, and identify other information technology resources to better serve the US Lacrosse membership. Prioritize and conduct market research to aid in the development of acquisition and retention strategies. Serve as the direct liaison to the leadership of US Lacrosse councils regarding membership operations relating to their respective constituencies. Serve as the primary staff liaison to and coordinate the activity of the Insurance & Risk Management Committee and Membership Committee. Coordinate the development of monthly reports on key areas of membership activity, including results of member acquisition and retention initiatives, and membership statistics. Responsible for developing, implementing and regularly analyzing a staffing plan for membership and call center functions. Monitor staff progress against pre-established departmental and individual performance objectives and measurement. Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills, Education and Experience At least five years of senior-level management experience of a key area or department of business operations for a national organization or company Data management and marketing experience preferred Proven success in building and sustaining effective, motivated staff teams Availability for travel or extended hours, as needed Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university; Masters degree preferred Previous association experience and knowledge of lacrosse a plus
